I would not have read C.S. Lewis if it had not been for Brown Chair Books' study guides. Both Study Guides for The Screwtape Letters, and The Problem of Pain, are easy to use, offering Answer Keys and Scripture References in pdf form online. I also found the introductory suggestions for shaping a group learning environment a great reminder. Many thanks for lending me a helping hand with one of the greatest thinkers of all time.

I led our Adult Sunday School class through the study guide of "The Screwtape Letters" last year, and I was extremely pleased with the content of the material. It did a great job of helping us all work through the C.S. Lewis book and deeply contemplate the ways that Satan tempts us. I received many positive comments from the class attendees. I am looking forward to doing the same with this new study of "The problem of Pain".

I have lead discussion groups using Vermilye's previous study guides for Mere Christianity and Screwtape Letters. I bought this book for my Granddaughter for her Birthday(April 8th), for her mother and father to read to her before she goes to bed at night. When it's time for bed they sit on the couch with her in between them and they take turns reading to her until she gets tired. She loves books with dogs especially because she has a beagle doggie for a pet. She loves this book and it helps her to identify with her doggie because she'll point to her doggie while they are reading the book to her and they will explain to her that her doggie is just like the one in the book. She really loves this book and trys to get one of her parents to read it to her all day long and it usually is read to her at least 6xs a day. My Granddaughter just turned 2yrs. old and is learning to talk and this book has helped her learn some new words to say. Great Book!!!!!!
