Good book for structuring lessons with adult ESL students. I tutor adults, and I find that the workbook is sufficient - I explain the material, but the student does not need the accompanying textbook.

The book was perfect and in great condition. It has been super helpful in teaching English as a Second Laguage here in Japan. Would recommend the book to others that may be looking to use this book to study English or looking to teach English to other people. The book also tells you on the back of it what level scores you could expect after studying the book. Its been super helpful in my classrooms and I have every book made by this company. I like the workbooks too as homework.

As an active and longtime member of OBOD (the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids), and a student of the teaching of Dion Fortune (founder of Society for Inner Light, and one of the major figures in the authentic occult and magical tradition issuing from the U.K.), Billington draws on these streams, while shaping a coherent and profound entrance to Druidry. As she notes, you can walk the solitary path, or join a Druid organization. But making use of texts like this one can be a useful middle way. The book, as the author notes, is consciously in step with contemporary practice, annotated so that readers can check and verify sources for themselves, and brim-full of techniques and practices in keeping with the teachings of several modern Druid organizations. Sustained meditation on these stories will reveal much of use and value to the aspirant after a Druidry that is authentic simply because it is grounded in knowledge and practice.Billington also develops the idea of the three rays of knowledge, nature and devotion into a coherent and balanced teaching. I especially liked how, throughout the text, she raises at least as many questions as possible answers, and how in each chapter she points us toward finding our own answers, as a good teacher should. Finally, Billington's book is both orderly and spiraling, acknowledging that we return to the foundations, revisit the basics, at many different times in our journey, often to see them as new and fresh because it is we who have moved and changed and grown. Highly recommended.

In the past ten years or so many books on Druidry or druid spirituality have been published. This is not the best but far from the worst of the lot I have read. The scholarship is basically sound and in tune with the latest in archeology and analysis of what is known about the ancient Celtic peoples. Each "druid" book offers a slighty different 'take' on the modern practice, mostly offshoots of either the OBOD or ADF version. One can take their choice, combine aspects of both or forge off in new directions. This book can assist no matter which course one selects.

A beautiful book that gives wonderful insights into the Druidic path. I think anyone can benefit from reading this book for its honest respect for all of nature.
